The Sardinian weavers, bent over their looms, weaving threads and colors into splendid tapestries. We owe it to them to pass on an art that has become the heritage of an entire island. HAS BRIDE It draws inspiration from the geometric motifs of Sardinian carpets, not intended as a "classic" carpet to be spread on the floor, but as an artifact created on the loom to cover the chest. In the past, when a girl got married, it was good practice for the family to prepare her trousseau, which was crammed into a chest, worked and inlaid. In turn, the chest was covered by the "coperibanga" or "copericascia" (the chest cover, or chest cover). Later the same process will be transferred to other products: tapestries, carpets, blankets, cushions, saddlebags, curtains.
